My husband is going to Las Vegas for a business trip tomorrow. He will
be staying at the Monte Carlo and has no transportation... can anyone
recommend some good (and on the easier side) boxes?
Thanks!

I just got home from Vegas last night!
The Triangle Building and Feeling Lucy are on the strip. No need for a car!
The Feeling Lucky stamp is crumbling and the log book was soaked. I took it
to my hotel room, dried it out and added another log book to the container.
But the stamp is still inkable and stampable so I say look for it!
Las Vegas Boneyard and Vegas Wedding are a $20 cab ride from the strip to
the park. You may want to have the driver wait as the boxes are fairly easy
to get - then it's another 20 min wait until they can get another cab back
to the park!
I couldn't find Vegas Wedding but I contacted the placer to let them know I
think it is missing. The hole was there - the box wasn't.
I would go to the park during the day. There seems to be a bunch of
transients that sleep in the park. But they left me alone.
Have a great time! Put $20 on Black for me!

I am still AMAZED that people report finding Feeling Lucky. I live
here and have attempted it five times with no luck. I have even
carved a new stamp for it and made a new log book...and it's not even
my stamp!

P.S. I'll go check on the Boneyard box tonight...it's been visited a
lot and may need a new book.

Feeling Lucky is alive...barely but alive. I added a make shift log book
from some cash register tape the Venetian gladly gave me!
I dried out the old log book but it's in pretty sorry shape. It looks like
the last entry was on the 10th of August and I found it on the 21st, soaking
wet. Would love to see what the new stamp looks like! Maybe in a few
months after I recuperate from this trip.
Boneyard logbook was in fairly good shape. I think Vegas Wedding is missing
all together. The hole was completely empty, I saw the red rock but no
signs of the box, stamp, or log book!

Shucks! I searched for the Feeling Lucky box numerous times on two
separate trips there this summer, even got my arms all scratched up
in the search! Oh darn, guess I'll have to plan another trip! :) -Q
